Gov. Blunt has made his choices concerning the Conservation Commission. While we were not exactly happy with his two choices, we have confidence that the choices will take time to listen to the Missouri public about their concerns and do what they can to address them.
Many of us are very concerned about the future of our beloved MDC and the direction it is heading. Many of us no longer trust the leadership that the past commission has given us. Despite what some may say, we know that at least one of the past commissioners was anti-gun and anti-hunting.
This website and a huge number of supporters are urging the current commission to ONLY appoint leadership who activley hunt, shoot, trap or fish.
We are sick and tired of additional regulations. Employees are sick and tired of anti-hunting remarks around the office in Jefferson City by people in leadership positions. They are sick and tired of pro-hunting and pro-gun employees being replaced by tree huggers and animal rights activist for their jobs.
We want leaders at the department who come to work everyday because of their love of hunting and fishing. Not leaders who hunt and fish because they are trying to keep up an appearance to the public
Even Sarah Brady can truthfully say she owns a shotgun.
This website and its supporters want the immediate resignation of John Hoskins and Lorna Domke from the MDC.
This website will explore the complaints of the people of Missouri and seek to urge those in the public to contact the MDC and become aware of what goes on there and become a voice. We hope the information provided to us by current and past MDC employees will make it to hunters, shooters and anglers in Missouri and bring them up to speed about what's going on. We urge the readers of this blog to inform the media, call the governor and talk to their elected officials urging that action be taken to bring the MDC back into the hands of hunters and sportsmen and out of the hands of those who would make the department into what animal rights activists and the Humane Society of the US would want it to be.
This site blog will be updated with submitted articles from all sorts of sources anxious to get the word out. We hope that you will stop by often!
Just last month State Senator Dan Clemens made remarks on the Missouri Senate Floor expressing his concerns with the current leadership at the MDC. Please read his remarks and forward them on to others who may wish to read them. Click Here
Please download and pass on the Take Back The MDC report to elected officials concerning the current state of the Missouri Department of Conservation. Please call your state elected representatives and senators and tell them that you are concerned with the Leadership at the MDC. Tell them you want change!
