Take Back The MDC

A Gathering Point for True Sportsmen

Serving Nature and Screw You

Submitted By Anonymous

“Serving Nature and You” is the slogan of our new MDC. It sounds warm and fuzzy, exactly the way it was intended. It also means exactly the way it is written: Nature will be served, before you will be served.

This theme is carried out throughout the future plans of the MDC, always placing the people at the end of the sentence.

The problem is, nature cannot be served, and anyone who thinks it can be served is an arrogant fool. Nature has no collective wants, needs or opinions, and has never written it’s own service manual.

The value of nature must be decided on and assigned to it by people. In this case, nature is said to be served by imposing the opinion of the MDC, and then claiming this and nature’s opinion is one and the same.

Since no thought process is involved, the idea that nature has a will of it’s own is hard to understand, even if you believe it is true.

What the MDC is telling us, in it’s slogan and actions, is the desires of people (i.e. the ignorant public) will always come second to the so-called desires of nature (i.e. their opinion).

For those of us who live in the real world, it’s obvious what conservation is based on. Lands are managed to meet goals, which were conceived by a single person or group of people.

When land is managed for the benefit of sportsmen, it is naturally enhanced for those who are not sportsmen. The majority of the people are served. This was the way the MDC operated in the past and how it became the best in the nation.

When land is managed for “nature’s sake” … absolutely nothing is served, except a few ego’s at the MDC.
