Wow! Ok. After a long hiatus from the blog, we are back.
A number of things have kept us away the past couple of months. Work being one (we have
day jobs afterall), interesting developments being another. A couple of us were told indirectly that the
NRA was knee deep into what they considered alarming trends going on at the MDC, but none of us
have heard anything on that in some time.
So we have decided to get back in gear and put some of our plans back into action to raise awareness
to what we feel is an absolute drift from traditional conservation beliefs and to prevent our MDC from
turning into an environmental organization.
Just over a dozen individuals both inside and outside the department took part in developing a brochure to be sent to our
elected state representatives and senators back in October. Because of developments supposedly happening behind the
scenes, we held off on its mailing. A few of us decided that we would wait until Jan. 1st to see if anything came about
from the concerns we were expressing about the liberalization and political correctness of the MDC and its leadership.

Seeing none, we have elected to put our plan back into action and address our elected representatives and senators with our
concerns and pleas for change.
The full color 8.5x11 brochures are now in print and will be delivered to Missouri Assembly Members within the next few weeks
as soon as we can address and stamp them.
We hope that this brochure will raise the eyebrows of those in the General Assembly who pay attention to MDC issues and that our
concerns will be taken seriously by the MDC commission. This is a movement that is not going away and it will be clear to anyone
that reads these brochures that those whom created it are willing to do what it takes to see change and see it soon.
We will also be sending copies of these out to contacts within the NRA, the CFM, the Governors office, and a number of other firearms and
hunting related groups both in Missouri and outside the state. In addition, if others would like to be sent a copy, you can send an email to
info@takebackthemdc.com and one will be sent to you as copies remain available.
Thank you for your patience as our absence has generated a ton of emails wondering when we were going to post again.
Your questions and comments are always welcomed.

Just last month State Senator Dan Clemens made remarks on the Missouri Senate Floor expressing his concerns with the current leadership at the MDC. Please read his remarks and forward them on to others who may wish to read them. Click Here
Please download and pass on the Take Back The MDC report to elected officials concerning the current state of the Missouri Department of Conservation. Please call your state elected representatives and senators and tell them that you are concerned with the Leadership at the MDC. Tell them you want change!
